Rooted in faith
At home in Atlanta since the 1980s
A handful of families drawn to Georgia in the 1980s have grown into a community of 357 members and more than 120 families across Georgia, Alabama and Tennessee — students, professionals, entrepreneurs and homemakers.
- Imadi Masjid
- Inaugurated in 2026 on Beaver Ruin Road in Lilburn — the community’s home for prayers, celebrations and events.
- Education
- Learning comes first for the community’s young members, many of them at Georgia Tech and Emory.
- Hospitality
- Ramadan iftar dinners with interfaith friends, and Dawoodi Bohra cuisine shared at local fairs and Georgia’s National Peanut Festival.
- Khidmat
- Adopt-A-Road with Gwinnett County, Habitat for Humanity builds, tree planting, and support for local families with ICNA Relief.
